INGREDIENTS
1 pound firm tofu
4 tbs olive oil
3 tbs spelt or whole wheat flour
1 medium onion cut into small pc
6 garlic cloves crushed
1 tbs ginger powder
3 tbs low sodium soy sauce
1 tbs teriyaki glaze sauce
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp black pepper
10 thin green onions cut into half.
DIRECTIONS
Cut the tofu to 1 inch cubes, put the spelt or wheat flour in a large plate, put the tofu inside and cover with the flour. In a medium frying pan, heat 3 tbs of oil, put the tofu inside and fry until golden from all sides for a few minutes. Take them out and set aside.
Add the rest of the olive oil, put the cut onion first, mix a little, add the garlic, pepper, stir for a few minutes and then add the soy sauce, teriyaki glaze, sugar, mix all together. Put the tofu back and stir for a minute, add the onions for another minute and turn off.
