Alina Miles

Alina Miles’ path into nutrition began with something far more personal than a career decision. Losing her father at a young age to a heart attack linked to lifestyle factors changed the way she looked at health entirely. It was no longer abstract. It became something urgent, human, and deeply real. That early experience eventually shaped the direction of her life and the work she does today through The Nutrition Checkpoint.

Her educational background shows both depth and direction in her field. Alina earned her Bachelor’s in Nutrition Science from Purdue University, graduating with magna cum laude. She went on to complete her Master’s in Applied Nutrition from University of New England, and became a Certified Gluten-Free Practitioner. Her academic training focused on translating nutrition science into practical, accessible guidance for everyday life.

In her work as an integrative nutritionist and wellness coach, Alina moves beyond traditional diet frameworks. She approaches nutrition within the context of real life, taking into account work routines, energy patterns, cultural influences , health conditions, and emotional factors. The result is a flexible, structured approach designed to be both sustainable and realistic.

Her client community includes women navigating menopause, individuals dealing with chronic health conditions, those working toward weight related goals, and people seeking to rebuild a balanced relationship around food. Each program is tailored to meet individuals where they are, offering guidance that emphasizes consistency and long term sustainability over rigid rules.

Recognized by Inc Media as one of the 10 top nutritionists in 2025, Alina continues to expand her presence beyond one-on-one settings into broader online and community based platforms. Her focus remains on simplifying nutrition and making it more approachable, practical, and sustainable for a wider audience.
